Who can enter?
We welcome any organisation (including public sector and education) located within Spelthorne borough and has local management autonomy to enter.
Are the Spelthorne Business Awards free to enter?
Yes, it is free to enter the Spelthorne Business Awards.
If you are shortlisted as a finalist in any of the Award categories, you will be required to attend the Spelthorne Business Awards Gala Dinner and Ceremony on Friday 3 October.
Can I apply online?
Yes, applications are online via the Spelthorne Business Awards website.
Simply complete the application form. You can also attach documents to support your application.
Can I save my part completed entry form?
You will be able to complete your entry form either in part or in full. There is an option to save the entry form throughout the process. Once saved, the system will send to you a link which you will be able to access at any time.
How much information will the Judges require?
This will very much depend upon the Award category you have entered. Take a look at our Hints and Tips section for further guidance on what information to include.
I am unsure if I fit the criteria for a particular Award?
If you are unsure, please email [email protected] and the awards team can advise on criteria for a particular category.
CAN I APPLY IN MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY?
You are welcome to submit applications in two categories this year. If you are unsure which is best fit for your application, please email [email protected] and the awards team can advise
Will I be visited by one of the judges?
Judges will not visit applicants. However, entrants must be available for interview by the sponsor/judging panel if there are any questions arising from the application form. If judges need further information, they will make an appointment to speak to you.
How can I get tickets for the dinner?
Tickets to attend the Spelthorne Business Awards Dinner will be available to purchase from Tuesday 15 July. Booking information will be on the awards website.
When will I know if I have been successful?
Finalists will be announced on Tuesday 15 July 2025.
Those entrants who have not been successful will be notified by email by close of play on Tuesday 15 July 2025.
For the avoidance of doubt, only the top three in each category are shortlisted. The winners and runners up from each category will be announced from the three finalists at the Awards Dinner on Friday 3 October 2025.
If I do become a winner / finalist of an Award, can I use the Spelthorne Business Awards Logo?
Should you be shortlisted to the final three, in your Award category, you will be able to use the Spelthorne Business Awards logo on all promotional material that your company may have. We will provide digital assets for your use with terms of terms of use?
